Henry was a finalist at the 2023 Shepherd Centre Alumni Awards and ultimately won the Hearing Australia Award for Excellence.

He is honoured to be the recipient of this award and understands his duty to ensure others also thrive to be excellent as well.

Nominated for his achievements for his appointment as Australian Deaf Swimming Captain and in recognition for all the social advocacy work he has done up to that point

Especially with ReachOut Australia where he sat on the Engagement, Fundraising and Sustainability Committee and as Youth Ambassador.

The event was about recognising the Alumni that have come through the Shepherd Centre and celebrating the work that the Shepherd Centre has done when working to give the power of speech to more Deaf & Hard of Hearing children.
